Teide - After the Wildfire

The forest fire on Tenerife in the summer of 2023 severely affected Teide National Park and large parts of the island. It was one of the most devastating fires in the recent history of the Canary Islands. Nature is amazingly resilient. Many plant species have adapted to the extreme conditions on Tenerife and can recover quickly.
